Bayramefendi Osmanlı Kahvecisi Visit: Entrepreneurship Lessons Are Learned in the Field!

Culinary Program students visited one of the leading brands in the sector, Bayramefendi Osmanlı Kahvecisi, as part of their Entrepreneurship course. The students were accompanied by the course supervisors Lecturer Mustafa Görücüler and Lecturer Yunus Baygül.
The students met with Ahmet Bekmez, the owner of Bayramefendi Osmanlı Kahvecisi Burdur branch, and the branch manager Batuhan Bilgin, gaining valuable experiences. The visit took place in the form of a sincere and interactive Q&A session. Culinary students had the opportunity to listen firsthand about critical topics such as brand creation and growth processes, human resources, and team management. The managers responded to the students' questions with current examples from the sector and their personal experiences, sharing the challenges and success secrets of the entrepreneurial journey.
With such field visits, we aim to develop not only our students' cooking skills but also their managerial and entrepreneurial skills.
